Annie Montgomery brings 17 years of styling expertise, refined at New York City’s renowned Marie Robinson Salon, to her newly opened space in Hudson, New York. A former visual artist, Annie embraces all hair textures and shapes, merging technique with intuition to create effortless transformations that feel both timeless and personal.
Annie’s work with NYC’s creative elite ranging from Rudolf Stingel and Chuck Close’s team to gallery owner Marianne Boesky, as well as connections within Christy’s Auction House and Sotheby’s has established her as a sought-after stylist. She has styled celebrities including Paul Bettany, Jennifer Connelly, the Hillfigers, Taylor Schilling, Andrew Garfield, and Kathryn Gallagher. Annie has also lent her expertise to clients preparing for iconic weddings at venues such as The Frick Museum, The Guggenheim, The Natural History Museum, New York Public Library, and The Bowery Hotel.

With over 12 years of experience, Eric Ennis specializes in creating natural, dimensional hair color tailored to each individual. Known for his nuanced understanding of tone and texture, along with a deep passion for the science of color, Eric crafts effortlessly sun-kissed, seamless looks that feel both authentic and timeless.
Eric’s journey began as an Aveda educator in Nashville, where he inspired students and fellow stylists to approach hair color with an artistic perspective. Upon moving to New York City, he further honed his craft, collaborating with top modeling agencies and fashion brands to perfect his aesthetic of wearable, low-maintenance, yet high-impact color.
Now based in Hudson, Eric brings his meticulous attention to detail, relaxed approach, and commitment to quality to every appointment. Whether enhancing your current look or guiding you through a complete transformation, Eric’s expertise ensures your hair will feel as healthy and beautiful as it looks.
Jake Seitchik, Stylist
Jake Seitchik is a master hair cutter and educator with over a decade of experience, renowned for creating long-lasting cuts that enhance natural hair textures. Known for his precise, tailored approach, Jake emphasizes the importance of personalizing each cut to the individual. His dry-cutting techniques allow him to address length, density, and texture with precision, making each haircut a collaborative and customized experience.
Jake began his career in Nashville, refining his skills while working with country music heavyweights. On the East Coast, he established a reputation in New York City, collaborating with legendary locals, artists, and models. His talent has taken him backstage at New York Fashion Week, where he worked with top brands such as Puma, BVLGARI, Naeem Khan, Pyer Moss, Christian Siriano, and Tibi.
As the former lead cut and style educator at Spoke & Weal’s, Jake trained stylists in advanced dry-cutting techniques, learning from Dyson’s Jon Reyman. Now based in Hudson, Jake continues to blend technical expertise with a client-first approach, delivering haircuts that are as functional as they are beautifully tailored to each individual.
Nina Valentine Rubel, Colorist
Nina Valentine Rubel is a seasoned colorist and educator with 16 years of experience. Born and raised in New York City, she splits her time between Brooklyn and the Hudson Valley. As an Educator for L’Oreal Professionnel, Creative Director at Rob Peetoom Salon in Williamsburg, and named one of NYC’s best hair colorists by Marie Claire Magazine, Nina’s work has appeared in Vogue, Elle, Allure, Cosmopolitan, Byrdie, and Oprah Daily. She has had the privilege of coloring the hair of influential figures such as Vice President Kamala Harris, Michaela Coel, and Diplo, and has collaborated with many of New York City’s models, musicians, and creatives.
Nina specializes in luxury hair color offering everything from classic, effortless styles to progressive, creative looks, always with a focus on making each client feel seen and their best self. She takes great pride in creating a welcoming, personalized experience and loves connecting with her clients to discover the perfect look that matches their individual style and energy.

Adriana Papaleo, Stylist
Adriana is a highly skilled and accomplished stylist with more than 20 years of expertise. As a former key member of the BedHead International Creative team, she has led fashion week shows in New York while also working multiple seasons in Milan, Paris and London. Currently, she serves as the Artistic Director at Rob Peetoom in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, where she continues to work with a loyal downstate clientele.
Blending technical skill with a strong sense of intuition, Adriana approaches each client with openness and curiosity. Believing that true transformation happens when we listen deeply, she creates a space where authenticity can emerge. The work she does is a personalized experience that celebrates each individual’s unique essence.
Adriana relocated to the Hudson Valley with her partner and their two dogs to enjoy the balance of creative inspiration and serene natural surroundings. Outside the studio, she spends her time creating botanically dyed textiles, collaborating within the fine art world on sculpture and video work, and traveling to Iceland as much as she can.

Make Up Artist
Christine Cherbonnier is a celebrity and editorial makeup artist represented by The Wall Group. Her natural approach and creative skills have led to work with clients such as Jil Sander, Saint Laurent, Valentino, Zara, Estée Lauder, Maybelline, as well as covers of magazines including Interview, W, and Vogue. Christine was Yoko Ono’s personal makeup artist for over a decade and contributed to numerous pieces and installations for Ms. Ono.
For years, Christine has balanced full-time work in NYC with the joy of upstate life, until she fell in love with her now-husband and tattoo artist, Nalla Smith. Realizing that although their mediums were different, they shared a similar connection, which inspired them to create something together — Sticks and Stones Tattoo in Hillsdale, NY, a space that merges art, love, and community.
While still working in the city and traveling for her celebrity and advertising clients, Christine has finally found a creative home upstate through her collaboration with Annie Montgomery Salon. Her partnership with Annie for weddings felt like the perfect fit—they share a similar industry background, years of expertise, and a shared creative vision. Christine is thrilled to bring that energy to her clients and to be part of something that bridges the worlds of the city, beauty, and community.

Brianne McCabe is a New York-based stylist, producer, and creative operations professional who blends artistry with thoughtful execution. Also known as Brie, her journey in luxury salon services began at the front desk of Marie Robinson in New York City. Now a Hudson resident, Brie leads the brand design and web operations for Annie Montgomery, combining her expertise in client relations, project management, and graphic design.
